My nephews are 15 today...

My nephews are 15 today. This is a "boo-hoo" and "woo-hoo" moment all at the same time. I am happy and excited to celebrate their 15th, but at the same time I don't know what happened to the time! Can it really be my nephews turn 15 today? FIFTEEN! As my niece says, "HULA COW!" Time is flying way too fast! I was just changing Jared and Joel's diapers, wiping noses, and teaching the fine art of tying a shoe lace. Likewise, Roxx was helping me with Charlotte as a new born while chasing little Nicholas. It's sinking in Jared and Joel are now in high school with driver's ed discussions on the table, and Nicholas in his first year of middle school. Three of our five are now in the secondary level making this is not just a big deal for me as a mom and aunt, but teacher as well in that I know the secondary half of education marks the beginning of the "letting go" season. Admittedly this is not easy. Letting go is hard. I support Roxx through these seasons first in light of Jared and Joel being older, but she reminds me I will return the favor on the back end when Julia embarks on adolescence. I can't imagine! That's it, I've decided I'm keeping my tiny bug tiny forever! :0) Another reminder to savor seasons and every moment in them. We are blessed! I love you Jared and Joel!!! Happy Birthday!!! Lots of Lovies, Auntie Elizabeth and Family
