Surrounded by Teenagers!
I'm surrounded by teenagers.
They not only surround me, they now tower me!
But I love them just like I did when they were cutting teeth!

Campus Preview w/ "Little People, Big World!"
.
.We've been on a "college tour" with Brian and Roxx the last few years. It's included anything from impromptu campus visits, to admission preview appointments. The focus has been on Jared and Joel since they're closer to college apps, but it also allows Nicholas and Charlotte to assimilate college lingo and culture. In this visit the Roloff's, of "Little People, Big World," were coincidentally also touring George Fox. Amazing day.

My nephews are 15 today...
My nephews are 15 today. This is a "boo-hoo" and "woo-hoo" moment all at the same time. I am happy and excited to celebrate their 15th, but at the same time I don't know what happened to the time! Can it really be my nephews turn 15 today? FIFTEEN! As my niece says, "HULA COW!" Time is flying way too fast! I was just changing Jared and Joel's diapers, wiping noses, and teaching the fine art of tying a shoe lace. Likewise, Roxx was helping me with Charlotte as a new born while chasing little Nicholas. It's sinking in Jared and Joel are now in high school with driver's ed discussions on the table, and Nicholas in his first year of middle school. Three of our five are now in the secondary level making this is not just a big deal for me as a mom and aunt, but teacher as well in that I know the secondary half of education marks the beginning of the "letting go" season. Admittedly this is not easy. Letting go is hard. I support Roxx through these seasons first in light of Jared and Joel being older, but she reminds me I will return the favor on the back end when Julia embarks on adolescence. I can't imagine! That's it, I've decided I'm keeping my tiny bug tiny forever! :0) Another reminder to savor seasons and every moment in them. We are blessed! I love you Jared and Joel!!! Happy Birthday!!! Lots of Lovies, Auntie Elizabeth and Family

Whirl Wind Weekend...
Roxx just made a post of our whirl wind weekend. After reading Roxx's post it's hard to believe we fit in everything we did. This also included Gymnastics and swim practice, as well as quality time Charlotte and I were able to spend with one of my colleagues at school. It did help that we had Friday off. Below are pics from our weekend:
