This recent Memorial weekend we got to sneak off to the beach and spend it with Elizabeth and the kids (Jonathan was coaching). We did the usual beach stuff, but mostly collapsed from fatigue induced by this busy spring season. In veggin' out I lost track of how many movies we watched. My favorite was Bride Wars... not necessarily because of the movie itself, but because of the commentary at the end (the main characters were childhood friends - chosen sisters like Elizabeth & I). It went something like this:

"Sometimes in life there are bonds formed that can never be broken... sometimes you really can find that one person who will stand by you no matter what... there's the chance the one person you can count on for a lifetime, the one person who knows you better than yourself, is the same person whose been standing beside you all along."
