As many of you know I am an honorary Aunt to many forever families. These families refer to the first time they held their child as "Gotcha Day." While this may not be as monumental in nature for many, for us it is as Monday was our daughter's "Gotcha Day" for her new hamster. This was an especially important day as she and Coach Amy made a special day of it. It was a combination of earning the day via gymnastics accomplishments, and memorializing the day as we recently lost Daisy Mai's predecessor to glory. So in celebration of our daughter, please join us in saying, "Happy Gotcha Day Daisy Mai!" :0).

I sure had fun chatting with Nicholas about this yesterday. We had a great conversation with him, catching up and celebrating Daisy Mai!!!
